An Honest Mom's Wisdom and Humor

Who says Mom's don't have wisdom and a little bit of humor. I was reading an article in the doctor's office the other day, you have plenty of time to read in the waiting room as we all know, that was inspiring and humorous. The article was out of the Senior News by a woman whose name was Sue. Sue's article was titled "Mom settled the Creation Evolution Debate." It went something like this. A young daughter came into her mother and asked "Mom where did we all come from?" the mother withouit any hesitation responded "God created all of us, He created all living things, especially us." The little girl decided to ask her dad the same question and so she did and her dad responded "We were all monkeys at one time. We all come from monkeys." The little girl was quite confused so she went back to her mother and told her what her dad had said. The mother again without any hesitation said "That is OK, honey, you see I was telling you where my side of the family came from and your dad was telling you where his side of the family came from." The little girl said "OK" and went out to play.

This Mother's Day let us be thankful for all our mothers, those still with us and those who have gone home to heaven and await our coming home. Let us be thankful that Mother's know how to use wisdom and humor when they talk to us.
